Brightening Pumpkin Enzyme Mask for All Skin Types

To celebrate the approach of Halloween, here’s a pumpkin mask, perfect for rejuvenating skin in cold weather! Pumpkin is full of vitamins and minerals, and is great for cell renewal, circulation, and preventing wrinkles. Honey is healing, moisturizing, and anti-bacterial. For all skin types feeling dull, except especially sensitive.

1 T canned pumpkin (make sure there are no additives)

1 T honey

optional: 1/2 tsp activated charcoal (NOT ordinary fireplace charcoal! Good for acne and blackheads) or 1/2 tsp baking soda

Simply mix ingredients together and apply to clean, damp face, neck, and décolleté. The mixture will be runny, but pat on as thick a layer as possible. A slight tingle is normal—that’s those enzymes at work!—but if it’s painful at all, rinse immediately. Let mask work for 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 1-2 times a week as needed.
